Aamir Khan, Kajol, and Juhi Chawla recently reunited at a special event celebrating the 25 years of Aamir Khan Productions, and their light-hearted banter quickly became the highlight of the evening. A video from the event has now gone viral on social media, leaving fans nostalgic and entertained. Kajol and Juhi Chawla playfully teamed up to tease Aamir Khan, sparking laughter among the audience.
The video shows Kajol saying, “Well, what can I say? One thing we can say about Aamir Khan is the fact that his production has definitely proved that he has great taste in movies, irrevocably good taste. Starting with Lagaan and continuing forward — and great taste in women as well.” Juhi added, “I don’t have just one word but a lot more for Aamir. If
I start, I can take over the evening. Because before he began Aamir Khan Productions, he was AK and we worked together, that was his first film. Aur dekho jisne mere saath kaam kiya, woh kahan pahunch gaya.” Fans immediately reacted. Reportedly, the actor is set to marry Gauri next month. They are expected to exchange vows on July 5 in an intimate ceremony. According to reports, Aamir and Gauri have chosen to keep the celebrations low-key, opting for a registered marriage at home attended only by family members and a close-knit group of friends.
Meanwhile, Aamir was earlier married to Reena Dutta. They continue to co-parent their kids, Ira and Junaid Khan, as they parted ways in 2002. He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005, and they welcomed their son Azad Rao Khan. However, in 2021, the duo announced their separation.
Aamir Khan’s Work Front
Aamir Khan was seen in Sitaare Zameen Par, directed by R.S. Prasanna and co-starring Genelia Deshmukh. The film was described as a spiritual successor to his 2007 classic Taare Zameen Par and revolved around a basketball coach and a team of specially abled players.
Apart from acting, Aamir has also remained active as a producer. His banner, Aamir Khan Productions, is backing Batwara 1947, which was earlier titled Lahore 1947. The film stars Sunny Deol in the lead and is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. The period drama is set against the backdrop of the Partition of India and also features Shabana Azmi, Preity Zinta and Ali Fazal in key roles. The film is slated to release on August 14, 2026.
