Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday held a telephonic conversation with Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader N Chandrababu Naidu and congratulated him on completing 15 years as Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister.
In a post on X, PM Modi said that he called up the TDP leader and praised his “futuristic vision and commitment to good governance” throughout his political career.
“Spoke to Chandrababu Naidu Garu and congratulated him on completing 15 years as Chief Minister. His futuristic vision and commitment to good governance have remained constant through his political career,” PM Modi said in a post on X.

“I have worked closely with Chandrababu Garu on numerous occasions, starting from the time we both were Chief Ministers in the early 2000s. Wishing him the very best as he passionately works for the welfare of Andhra Pradesh,” he added.
Naidu first took oath as the CM of united Andhra Pradesh on September 1, 1995. He ruled the state continuously from 1995 to 2004 and went on to become the CM again in 2014. He once again ascended the chair in 2024, for the fourth time.
During his first two tenures, he was CM of undivided Andhra Pradesh.
