Mudassar Khan Praises Salman Khan’s ‘Baap Level’ Performance In Massive Song Shoot
Sharing exciting details from the shoot, Mudassar praised Salman Khan’s unmatched energy, dedication, and larger-than-life performance in the track. Speaking about the experience, Mudassar said, “Abhi maine ek gaana kiya hai Salman Khan sir ke saath in Maatrubhumi, it’s a very big song. 200 dancer hai, edit ho raha hai, aur Bhai ne usme kya baap level perform kiya hai. Humney 5 din shooting kiya tha.”
“Salman Khan has undergone a remarkable physical transformation for the film. He has been training at extreme high altitudes in Ladakh, combining intense endurance drills with heavy weight sessions. It is easily one of the most grueling fitness regimens he has taken on in recent years, reflecting a completely new level of commitment to the role. During a 45-day schedule in Ladakh, the superstar adopted a calisthenics-based fitness routine to maintain his physique, as it was difficult to carry a full gym setup at such high-altitude shooting locations,” the source told Hindustan Times.
About Maatrubhumi
Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace, which was earlier titled Battle of Galwan, has reportedly been delayed due to a mix of production and creative reasons.
The Salman Khan-starrer was initially expected to release on April 17, 2026, but reports later claimed the makers needed more time for post-production work and patch shoots. Salman reportedly did not want to rush the film and preferred delaying it to ensure better quality.
The film also went through a major title change earlier this year. Director Apoorva Lakhia said the team had registered both Battle of Galwan and Maatrubhumi from the beginning, but eventually felt the new title better captured the emotional side of the story rather than just the war angle.
Reports also suggested the makers wanted to avoid political sensitivity around the Galwan Valley clash, which involved Indian and Chinese troops in 2020.
