Delhi, Sep 27 (PTI) A video purportedly showing a massive protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar is old and no such demonstration took place there on Saturday, the Delhi Police said.
In a post on X, Deputy Commissioner of Police (New Delhi) Sachin Sharma said the claim of a live, massive protest at Jantar Mantar was false and added that the footage being circulated was from a past event.
The police warned of a legal action against those found spreading misinformation or circulating misleading content. PTI SSJ VN
