Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru will take on 2022 champions Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2026 final on Sunday, May 31. The summit clash of the ongoing season of the world’s richest franchise cricket league will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

RCB stormed into the final after crushing GT by 92 runs in Qualifier 1 on May 26, while Gujarat Titans bounced back strongly by defeating Rajasthan Royals by seven wickets in Qualifier 2 to set up their fourth meeting of the season against Rajat Patidar’s side.
GT have enjoyed an impressive record at the Narendra Modi Stadium this season, winning five of their seven matches at the venue. The Titans will be eager to deliver
another strong performance in front of their home fans and clinch their second IPL title in five years.
The franchise will once again rely heavily on opening duo of Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan, who occupy the second and third spots respectively in the Orange Cap leaderboard. Gill, who smashed 104 runs against Rajasthan Royals in Qualifier 2 on Friday, has amassed 722 runs in 15 matches this season. Sudharsan, meanwhile, has scored 710 runs in 16 appearances.
In the bowling department, Kagiso Rabada leads the Purple Cap race with 28 wickets in 16 matches. Rashid Khan has claimed 19 wickets, while Mohammed Siraj (18), Jason Holder (17) and Prasidh Krishna (16) are also among the top wicket-takers of IPL 2026.
For RCB, Virat Kohli has been the leading run-scorer with 600 runs in 15 matches. Veteran India pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar has spearheaded the bowling attack, picking up 26 wickets in 15 games. Apart from them, Devdutt Padikkal, captain Rajat Patidar, Krunal Pandya and Rasikh Salam Dar have also played key roles in Bengaluru’s run to the final.
