Filmmaker Sajid Khan raised concern among fans after he was recently spotted arriving for a shoot in a wheelchair. The director, who is also choreographer-filmmaker Farah Khan’s brother, revealed that he met with an accident that left him with a fracture in one leg and required surgery on the other.

Sajid was seen on the sets of The Wheel of Fortune, where he paused to interact with photographers despite his condition. While posing from his wheelchair, the filmmaker assured everyone that he is on the road to recovery.
When asked how he was doing, Sajid responded candidly with his trademark blunt humour. “Dikh raha hai tereko kaisa hoon,” he quipped, before adding, “Accident ho gaya yaar, ek tang mein surgery
hui hai, aur ek tang fracture ho gaya.”
As photographers wished him a speedy recovery, Sajid shared his determination to return to work as soon as possible. “Wahi koshish kar raha hoon. Isiliye wheelchair mein hi Wheel of Fortune ke set par aa gaya,” he said.

Wheel of Fortune India, hosted by Akshay Kumar, is set to make its grand premiere on January 27. The show will air Monday to Friday at 9 pm on Sony TV, with episodes also streaming on Sony LIV.
Accident And Surgery Details
Reports last month revealed that Sajid Khan suffered the injury while shooting in Mumbai. He was reportedly on the sets of an Ekta Kapoor production when the accident occurred, resulting in a fractured foot that required surgical intervention.
Confirming his recovery, Farah Khan told Hindustan Times, “The surgery is done, he is absolutely fine now.” Sajid was last seen publicly at cousin Zoya Akhtar’s Christmas party before this recent appearance.

In recent years, Sajid Khan remained in the public eye through his participation in Bigg Boss 16. During the reality show, he formed close bonds with fellow contestants Shiv Thakare, MC Stan, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Sumbul Touqeer Khan, and Abdu Rozik, collectively known as the popular “Mandali.”
