Must-win match for CSK
The ongoing IPL 2026 match between GT and CSK is a must-win for Chennai Super Kings. If CSK lose against the Shubman Gill-led side, then they will get knocked out of the IPL 2026 playoffs race. A win over GT will not guarantee CSK a place in the playoffs on Thursday, but they will at least remain in the hunt.
