Veteran actor Satish Shah passed away on October 25, leaving a legacy of timeless laughter. The actor has given some of the most cherished memories to all the ’90s kids in the form of Indravadan Sarabhai through his iconic show Sarabhai vs Sarabhai. Today, as the late actor’s funeral took place, the entire team of the show Sarabhai vs Sarabhai paid a heart-wrenching tribute to him, which will leave you in tears.
JD Majethia, the producer of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, along with the cast of the show—including Rupali Ganguly, Sumeet Raghavan, Rajesh Kumar, Deven Bhojani, and the show’s writer Aatish Kapadia—stood in line to sing the famous Sarabhai vs Sarabhai intro track as they said goodbye to their dear Satish Shah. In the clip, JD Majethia bid farewell by saying, “We love you, Satish Bhai. You will be missed forever.” As Sumeet Raghavan, Rupali Ganguly, and others broke down, he asked them to stop crying and said, “Haste haste haste vida karna hai.”

His health suddenly deteriorated at home, and he was rushed to Hinduja Hospital, where he passed away. From his unforgettable characters in films to his witty turn as Indravadan Sarabhai in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Shah defined sharp, situational humour for a generation.
