Salman Khan’s fans have a reason to rejoice as Arbaaz Khan recently confirmed that Dabangg 4 is in development. The Dabangg franchise has a massive fan following, and after the release of Salman Khan and Sonakshi
Sinha starrer Dabangg 3 in 2019, fans had been eagerly waiting to find out whether Salman’s beloved character, Chulbul Pandey, will return for the fourth film. Now, Arbaaz Khan has confirmed that Dabangg 4 will definitely happen, however, the timeline for the film hasn’t yet been decided.
Salman Khan’s Dabangg 4 Will Happen, Says Arbaaz Khan
In an interaction with Zoom, Arbaaz Khan shared that Dabangg 4 is in the pipeline, however, they are in no rush. “It’s something that is in the pipeline, but I don’t know the timeline.” He added that questions about the next part are endless, sharing, “So that’s my answer which is a very patent answer because everybody’s patent question is when is Dabangg 4 going to come? So that’s my answer to it,” he said.
He further added, “We’re working on it and no hurry. But it is something that Salman and we will discuss and do. It will happen. I don’t know when but whenever it happens it’ll be something to look forward to.”
Dabangg Franchise
The first film Dabangg, directed by Abhinav Kashyap, released in 2010, and became a cultural phenomenon upon its release. The film portrayed Salman Khan as Chulbul Pandey, a fearless yet quirky cop with a rebellious streak. The movie blended high-octane action, humor, and drama, while also introducing Sonakshi Sinha as the strong-willed Rajjo. With its catchy songs, memorable dialogues, and larger-than-life characters, Dabangg established itself as one of Bollywood’s most beloved masala entertainers and marked the beginning of a highly successful franchise.
The second instalment Dabangg 2 released in 2012, and was directed by Arbaaz Khan. Dabangg 3 released in 2019, and was directed by Prabhu Deva.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan is currently hosting the famous reality show Bigg Boss 19. On the acting front, he was last seen in A.R. Murugadoss’ action drama Sikandar.
Up next, Salman will be seen in Battle of Galwan. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film recounts the 2020 conflict at Galwan Valley between India and China. The film is expected to portray the heroism of the Indian Army and their relentless fight. The film is slated for a 2026 release.
