BlackBuck’s co-founder Rajesh Yabaji has announced to move out the firm from Bengaluru, citing bad roads and traffic. The logistic tech platform owner said that the company is moving out of Bengaluru’s ORR (Outer Ring Road) as “it’s very hard to continue here” due to long commute.
Yabaji said that the the average commute for his colleagues was more than one and half hours one way. The roads are riddled with potholes and dust, “with little intent to fix them” he said, adding he didn’t expect it to change in the next five years.
BlackBuck is a platform providing payments, telematics, loads marketplace and vehicle financing services.
ORR (Bellandur) has been our “office + home” for the last 9 years. But it’s now very-very hard to continue here. 💔
We have decided to move out.

Netizens Nod In Agreement
A Twitter thread that went viral captured the mood of many residents. Yogesh (@Spartacus_Tweet) called the property rates in Bellandur “massively overvalued,” comparing builders’ asking prices to “Chicago and Dubai for the infrastructure of Somalia.”
Another user, Aniruddha (@aNr1857), questioned why companies continue to stick to Bellandur despite its notorious congestion. “It’s absurd that Prestige and Sattva are building new tech parks right at the core of the jam,” he wrote.
Some offered tongue-in-cheek solutions. “Ropeway is the only solution.
Others highlighted the political angle. “You have to adjust for 4 years and demand BJP govt to fix it after 4 years. BJP also won’t fix. But if u demand they will fix. Cong will not fix even if u demand,” tweeted @PanditRamJoshi.
The conversation also struck a personal chord. Rajath DM (@rajathdm) admitted that Bellandur is “really bad for work/commute/living” and asked fellow users where they plan to move. One respondent, Deepak Baid (@idk_idontkare), shared that he too wanted to relocate but couldn’t because his sister’s daily office commute would worsen if they shifted.
