Bigg Boss 19: Daboo Malik Addresses Son Amaal’s Changing Personality, Says He Is ‘Not Fake’

Music composer Amaal Mallik’s stint in the Bigg Boss 19 house has quickly become one of the most talked-about things this season. From his fiery one-liners to emotional heart-to-heart talks, Amaal’s evolving personality has sparked debates both inside and outside the house. However, not everyone is convinced by the shift in his behaviour.

The changing personality from aggressive to emotional during his captaincy week led some viewers to label him as ‘fake.’

Addressing this backlash, Amaal’s father, veteran composer Daboo Malik, has now come forward in his son’s defence.

fake nahi hai. Jo bhi aap dekh rahe hai wo real hai, real uska character hai, real personality hai jo acchi bhi hai, buri bhi hai, kuch khatti bhi hai, kuch meethi bhi hai, lekin wo koi cheez fake nahi kar sakta. (Let me tell you that Amaal is not fake at all. What audiences are witnessing is his real nature, real personality, which is good, bad, sometimes sour, sometimes sweet, but he can never be fake.)”

“Wo jeetne ke liye nahi khelega, wo khelega apne dil se aur wo dil se hi dilon pe raaj karega. (Amaal will never play just to win the show, but with his genuine heart and that’s what will make him win the love of millions),” He added.

Amaal Malik’s Captaincy
The music composer was in fiery mode during his captaincy task. Though housemates slammed him for being over-aggressive, Amaal paid no heed and continued to manage things the way he wanted. After his captaincy was over, he apologised to everyone for his behaviour.

Amaal Malik’s Emotional Breakdown
The usually composed Amaal was left visibly shaken after Baseer’s emotional confession that he felt betrayed during the recent voting round. Despite considering Amaal a close friend, Baseer expressed that no one, including Amaal, voted to save him. “Ek vote bhi nahi aaya merko saving mein,” he said, his voice filled with pain.

Hearing this, Amaal broke down and he sobbed uncontrollably. “I did wrong with you. I’m sorry. I let you down. I’ve fallen in my own eyes, too,” he said, wiping his tears.

Bigg Boss 19’s nominations
Among the nominated contestants this week – Ashnoor Kaur, Pranit More, Nehal Chudasama, Baseer Ali and Abhishek Bajaj – Nehal was evicted from the house. But in a BB twist, she was sent to the secret room like Farrhana Bhatt.
