Metro services in India have drawn attention for their modern infrastructure, cleanliness and convenient facilities, which has continued to earn praise from Indian and international commuters. A Russian woman living in India was among those who appreciated metro services in Jaipur after experiencing it for the first time ever.
In a video posted on Instagram, Vera Prokofeva documented her first ride on the Jaipur Metro. She was accompanied by another woman, who was equally or even more impressed by the public transport. Both of them gave the service a solid 10 on 10.
“Ten Out Of Ten”
At the beginning of the clip, Vera was seen speaking with a staff member at the metro station, buying tickets for their journey to Hawa Mahal. They then proceeded towards
the platform and were immediately taken away by its infrastructure and cleanliness. “Very good. I would say nice platform. Ten out of ten. So far,” she said.
Once the train arrived, they hopped onto it and were equally impressed by the coach. They enjoyed the ride and were happy that their mission to take a metro train was finally complete. “It’s ten out of ten,” she said while exiting the station, before adding, “It looks like Dubai Metro.”
“Trying Jaipur metro for the first time,” the text overlaying the video read.
Internet Has Mixed Reaction To The Video
The video attracted reactions from viewers, including people from Jaipur and others who had travelled on the city’s metro.
“Thank you for showing India’s real image cuz nowadays foreigners always criticise bad places in india They never make a video on a good places,” said a user.
Another wrote, “I went to Jaipur two months ago, but back then, the ticket wasn’t a token; it was a paper QR ticket.”
“Authorities in India try to give best to its people its upto people how to use,” an individual commented.
Meanwhile, someone shared, “I am also from Jaipur but I believe that Jaipur Metro route should also be there at other historical places like Amber Fort, Jalmahal so that it will be convenient for the guests coming from outside.”
“Jaipur metro is not upto the mark if you compare metro’s available all over indian cities. You must travel delhi or nagpur or Hyderabad metro. You ll feel the reasonable change. Happy holiday,” a different person said.
