Man City Superstar Bernardo Silva Confirms Exit At End Of Season

Manchester City star Bernardo Silva confirmed that he will depart the Premier League club at the end of the season with a heartwarming post on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, on Thursday.

Silva, who arrived from Monaco in the year 2017, went on to enjoy a trophy-laden decade at the Mancunian club as he clinched the PL, UCL, FA Cup, EFL Cup, Community Shield and the FIFA Club World Cup.

“Cityzens, When I arrived 9 years ago, I was following a dream of a little boy, wanting to succeed in life, wanting to achieve great things. This city and this club gave me much more than that, much more than I ever hoped for. What we won and achieved together is a legacy that will forever be cherished in my heart. The Centurions, the domestic quadruple,

the Treble, the Four In A Row and much more… It wasn’t that bad,” the Portuguese midfielder said.

Silva managed to win the PL crown as many as six times, while winning the EFL Cup five times. He also managed to get his hands on three Community shields, two FA Cups and the UCL and the FIFA CWC one time each.

“In a few months it’s time to say goodbye to the city where not only we won so much as a football club, but also where I started my marriage and my family. From the bottom of my heart, Ines and Carlota, thank you!”
