Ki Kore Bolbo Tomay fame Krushal Ahuja is gearing up for his upcoming project, Binddii.. The actor, who rose to fame with his positive roles in Jhanak, Rishton Ka Manjha and Ranu Pelo Lottery, among others, will be portraying a negative role in the next show. Recently, he talked about his shift in portraying characters on-screen.
In an interview, Krushal Ahuja was asked about his opinion on getting typecast in negative roles. The actor, who embarked on his acting journey with his charming appearances in regional television shows before making his way to Mumbai in 2017, revealed to Mumbai Mirror, “I don’t think doing a negative role will typecast an actor.”

Krushal Ahuja On Being Typecast In Negative Roles
Ahuja has been part of several serials so far, especially portraying positive, main-character roles. His first purely negative role will be as Aviraj in the upcoming show Binddii. Talking about the same shift in his on-screen persona, he added, “For me, if the story connects and it’s justified, I don’t have a problem playing a negative part. This is a jackpot because I am still playing a hero, but with negative shades.”
Expressing his excitement for the upcoming challenge, he described his earlier characters as “flawed but good at heart” and mentioned, “This is the first time I’m portraying such a dark character.”

When addressing his upcoming role, he shared, “Aviraj is different. He lies, cheats, steals and runs illegal businesses. He has no guilt.”
The actor, who rose to fame with the TV show Jhanak, also mentioned, “Doing a daily soap was never my plan. Movies have always been my dream. But things happened, and I am happy with the exposure I got. Television has taught me a lot — it makes you prompt, sharp and hardworking. But there’s still that hunger for films and OTT, and I’m actively working towards it.”
Krushal Ahuja’s Career So Far
In 2017, Ahuja began his acting career with a short film Bidayi. Shortly after, he made his television debut with the lead role of Dhrubo Mitra in Zee Bangla soap Ranu Pelo Lottery opposite Bijaylakshmi Chatterjee.
Following this, he has been seen as Aniruddh Bose in Jhanak, Arjun Agarwal in Rishton Ka Manjha, and Karna Sen in Ki Kore Bolbo Tomay.
