Surabhi Das talks about working in Ramayana
In the epic mythological film, Surabhi will be playing the role of Urmila. While speaking to Bollywood Hungama, the actress shared how Sai Pallavi guided
her during the shoot. She called her the “sweetest person.” Surabhi said, “I play Sai Pallavi’s sister. She is the sweetest person. I was curious about the South industry and I asked her how things are out there. She explained nicely to me. Also, our outfits, especially our lehengas, were very heavy. Moreover, we were also wearing jewellery. So, it was difficult to manage. She guided me well and suggested ki ‘aap aise step le sakte ho’.”

Further, talking about Ranbir Kapoor, she showered love on him and appreciated his aura and good looks. She said, “He’s very introverted, calm and silent. Rama’s character is quite graceful. If you are like that in real life, it becomes effortless to slip into the part. He does his scene with complete dedication. I never saw him come out of his character when the cameras were not rolling. He remained in his character. When he comes on the set, he has this energy about him. Aap naa chahte hue bhi aap dekhoge hi unke taraf! He’s so good-looking and his aura is such that you feel that aapke saamne bhagwan khade hai.”
Surabhi rose to fame with her performance in the TV show Nima Denzongpa.
Meanwhile, Ramayana Part 1 is all set to hit theatres on Diwali 2026, while the second part will release on Diwali 2027.
