JEE Main 2026 City Intimation Slip Expected Soon, Know How To Check & Download

JEE Main 2026 City Intimation Slip: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the JEE Main 2026 city intimation slip shortly on the official websites nta.ac.in and jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates appearing for the January session can use the slip to check the city allotted for their examination centre.

The JEE Main 2026 January session is scheduled to begin on January 21. As per NTA’s usual practice, the city intimation slip is not the admit card and will not allow entry into the examination hall.

It only informs candidates about the exam city so they can plan travel and accommodation in advance. The admit card, which carries the exact centre address, shift timing and reporting instructions, will be issued three to four days before

the exam date.

JEE Main 2026 Exam Schedule

The January session will be held between January 21 and January 31, covering:

Paper 1: BE/BTech

Paper 2A: BArch

Paper 2B: BPlanning

The Session 1 result is scheduled to be declared on February 12, 2026. JEE Main is conducted in two sessions, in January and April, in computer-based test (CBT) mode. The April session is slated for April 1 to April 10, 2026, with results expected by April 20, 2026.

Candidates who qualify JEE Main will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2026, scheduled for May 17, to be held in two shifts — 9 am to 12 pm (Paper 1) and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm (Paper 2). Registration for JEE Advanced will begin on April 23, 2026.

How To Download JEE Main 2026 City Intimation Slip?

Once released, candidates can download the city slip by following these steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the link for “JEE Main 2026 Session 1 City Intimation Slip” on the homepage.

Step 3: Log in using the application number and password or date of birth.

Step 4: The city intimation slip will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Check the allotted exam city carefully.

Step 6: Download the PDF and take a printout for future reference.
