Hombale Films’ Kantara: Chapter 1 continues its unstoppable rise, breaking new records of success with each passing day. Receiving overwhelming love and admiration from audiences nationwide, the film is showcasing exceptional box office growth and cementing its position as a resounding triumph.
Amid the film’s ongoing success spree, Rishab Shetty visited the world’s oldest temple, the Mundeshwari Temple. While the film continues to enjoy massive success, Rishab was seen seeking blessings as an expression of his gratitude to the divine for the film’s tremendous response. He also performed the coronation ritual for Maa Mundeshwari and embraced the temple’s spiritual essence.

Previously, Rishab Shetty also visited the heritage city of Mysuru to seek
the blessings of Goddess Chamundeshwari and Shrikanteshwara Temple. The actor-director also visited Varanasi and Kashi Vishwanath later on Friday to seek blessings amid the success of his movie.
Kantara: Chapter 1 is one of Hombale Films’ most ambitious undertakings. The creative team includes music director B. Ajaneesh Loknath, cinematographer Arvind Kashyap, and production designer Vinesh Banglan, all of whom have shaped the film’s powerful visual and emotional narrative.
Released on October 2, in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Bengali, and English, the film is reaching audiences across languages and regions while remaining deeply rooted in its cultural core.
Earlier, Rishab disclosed that he shot the climax of “Kantara: Chapter 1″ with ‘a swollen leg & exhausted body’. Sharing a couple of stills of his painted and swollen feet on Insta, he penned, “This was during the climax shoot, a swollen leg, an exhausted body .. but today, the climax has become something that millions watch and admire. This was only possible through the blessings of the divine energy we believe in. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who have supported us..(sic).”
Kantara: Chapter 1 has crossed Rs 700 crore mark at the box office.
