Bigg Boss 19: Not Salman Khan, But This Bollywood Filmmaker Will Host Weekend Ka Vaar This Week

Bigg Boss 19 is just days away from its finale and the drama inside the house is heating up every day. Following a dramatic mid-week eviction twist, fans are eager to discover who will be ousted from the race

for the trophy this Weekend Ka Vaar, as well as who Salman Khan will target this time. However, Salman will not be hosting this weekend’s Ka Vaar. Rohit Shetty, the Bollywood filmmaker and Khatron Ke Khiladi presenter, will take over his role.

On Friday, JioHotstar announced that Rohit Shetty will replace Salman Khan as the presenter of Weekend Ka Vaar. Sharing a poster of the filmmaker, the channel wrote, “Iss Weekend Ka Vaar, Rohit Shetty layenge action aur drama ka blockbuster blend” Rohit Shetty replaced Salman Khan this week as the actor is engaged with his Da-Bangg tour in Doha. The actor performed at Doha’s Asian Town Amphitheatre alongside Tamannaah Bhatia, Prabhu Deva, Maniesh Paul, Sunil Grover, Jacqueline Fernandez and Stebin Ben.

What Happened In Bigg Boss 19 House This Week?

This week, Mridul Tiwari was eliminated in a mid-week elimination after garnering the fewest votes during a live-audience challenge. Amaal and Gaurav had a heated altercation when the singer and Farrhana accused Gaurav of playing a ‘character’ in the Bigg Boss house rather than displaying his true self. The conversation then went to nepotism, with Amaal believing Gaurav mocked his efforts. This latest episode saw Gaurav becoming the house captain and nominating everyone, prompting strong reactions from Shehbaz Badesha and Amaal. Both accused Bigg Boss of partiality towards Gaurav and deemed the move unjust.

Reacting to this, the Bigg Boss called all the housemates to the Assembly Hall and told them if they felt he was unjust, they could change the captain, but the nomination and ratio decision would stay the same as before. After a voting process, Shehbaz ended up becoming the new captain.

Rohit Shetty Bashes Housemates

As per promos, on Weekend Ka Vaar, Rohit will also confront Pranit More about his decision to save Ashnoor Kaur over Abhishek Bajaj, wondering if it was a plot to eliminate his ‘tougher competitor.’ The filmmaker and host will also be seen criticising Amaal and Shehbaz Badesha for calling Bigg Boss unfair and biased after Gaurav was appointed captain.
