Passengers of an IndiGo flight from Vadodara to New Delhi claimed that they were left stranded in the aircraft without air-conditioning. However, the airport officials said the disruption of power was due to a technical glitch but it was restored in half hour.

The incident was reported in Indigo flight number 6E 657, from 20:50 pm to 21:15 pm, Bhaskar reported. According to videos that went viral on social media, the passengers had to resort to using cardboard sheets, files, and newspapers to fan themselves inside the closed cabin.
Gujarat Samachar reported that some
passengers claimed that the aircraft doors remained shut during the delay, making conditions inside the cabin increasingly “suffocating”.
According to the Airport officials, the ground power unit was affected due to a technical glitch which caused disruption in power supply. They further said that it was restored in about half hour.

The incident had resulted in a delay in the departure of the flight. The flight was scheduled to depart at 8.40 pm; however, due to the failure in GPU, it departed at 10 pm.
