Mom-to-be Sonam Kapoor stepped out in Mumbai recently and made a calm, graceful appearance at a city event, taking things slow and easy as she enters the final phase of her pregnancy.
The actor was seen
arriving at an international beauty brand event in Lower Parel on Friday. Videos from the venue show Sonam being gently helped by a friend as she walked inside. Holding her friend’s hand and chatting along the way, Sonam smiled for the cameras and looked comfortable and relaxed.
For the event, Sonam chose a blue velvet dress and kept her look simple with minimal styling and open hair. She appeared focused on comfort while still carrying her usual elegance.

Sonam, 40, is expecting her second child. She announced the pregnancy in November with a stylish social media post that quickly caught attention. The actor shared pictures in a pink outfit inspired by Princess Diana. The look was a vintage Escada by Margaretha Ley (1988) ensemble, similar to one of Diana’s iconic suits.
She captioned the post “Mother” with a kissing face emoji. The announcement received a warm response from friends and colleagues. Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor congratulated the couple, while Parineeti Chopra commented, “Congrats, mamacitaaa.”
Anand Ahuja also shared a sweet message for his wife, writing, “Baby ma.. also chicccccc mama!”
Several others sent their wishes as well, including Patralekhaa, who recently became a mother. Sonam’s mother Sunita Kapoor praised her daughter and called her radiant.
Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja got married in 2018 and welcomed their first child, son Vayu, in 2022. At the time, they shared a heartfelt note thanking their doctors, family and friends as they began their journey into parenthood.
