Salman Khan’s co-star, Ayaan Lall, from the movie Sikandar, opened up about the Wanted actor’s reaction to finding out his relationship with Kunickaa Sadanand.
Khan was pleasantly surprised to have learnt that Lall was the son of Sadanand, whom he worked with in his prime.

During an interview with Mamaraazzi, Ayaan Lall said he did not tell Salman Khan about how he was related to the industry, “even on the last day” of shooting Sikandar. “Even on the last day, I did not tell him, ‘I have a picture with him. Or who my mother is. Or how I am related to this industry,” said Lall.
Ayaan Lall’s mother, Kunickaa Sadanand, played Salman Khan’s stepmother in the 1998 hit romantic comedy,
Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya. After the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor found out Lall was the son of Sadanand, he immediately connected with the former’s mother on the phone.
“Why didn’t you tell me before? Call your mother up right now,” Lall recalled. He said Khan and Sadanand caught up after decades. “They had a conversation after thirty years. They laughed, they joked,” Lall said.
“The whole set was waiting. For 10 minutes, the whole set is looking at Sir talking to my mother,” Lall added.
Salman Khan’s upcoming movie
Salman Khan’s upcoming movie, Battle of Galwan, will hit the theatres on April 17, 2026. Salman Khan and Chitrangada Singh co-star in the film, also produced by Salma Khan under the Salman Khan Films banner. During an interview with PTI, Salman Khan branded Battle of Galwan as a “physically demanding” movie.
“Every year, every month, every day, it gets more and more difficult. I’ve to give more time now (for training),” he told the outlet.
“Earlier, I would do it (train) in one or two weeks. Now, I’m running, kicking, punching, and all that stuff. This film demands that,” Khan emphasised.
The movie Battle of Galwan is about the events that took place between Indian and Chinese troops in the Galwan region on June 15, 2020. A troop of 1200 men from the Chinese Liberation Army were valiantly repelled by 200 Indian soldiers.
