Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar has become one of the biggest blockbusters of Bollywood. In a month-long theatrical run, the film has been dominating the box office and continues to post strong numbers. Since

the release of the film, several celebrities have been hailing it, and reactly after Tamil actor Suriya Sivakumar praised the film,Aditya Dhar and R Madhavan have reacted to his kind words.

Taking to X, Suriya shared, “Thank you @AdityaDharFilms for giving this masterpiece. Dhurandhar, what a movie! Completely blown by your craft… love & respect to you and the whole team. Suriya praised Madhavan’s performance in his post and hailed him for an amazing transformation. Dhurandhar is the first part of a two-film series that follows an Indian spy infiltrating Karachi’s criminal and political underworld. The plot weaves in real-life geopolitical events such as the 1999 IC-814 hijacking, the 2001 Indian Parliament attack, the 2008 Mumbai attacks, and Operation Lyari, giving the spy thriller a grounded yet gripping narrative.

The film features an ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles, with Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun, and Danish Pandor in pivotal parts. Its second part, Dhurandhar 2, will hit theatres on March 19, 2026. It will lock horns at the box office with Yash-starrer Toxic, which is also slated to release on the same day.

Rs 800 Crore Milestone in Just 30 Days

Producer Jio Studios confirmed on Sunday that Dhurandhar has collected Rs 806.80 crore net in India within 30 days of its release. The film’s weekly performance shows how steady its run has been.

The film made Rs 218 crore in its first week and Rs 261.5 crore in the second. It then earned Rs 188.3 crore in week three and Rs 115.70 crore in week four. Over the latest weekend, it collected Rs 9.70 crore on Saturday and Rs 12.60 crore on Sunday.
