NCT’s Doyoung Drops Surprise Live Performance Video Of Whistle With Belle | Watch

As NCT’s Doyoung went off to complete his mandatory military service, his YouTube channel unveiled a special live performance video of his collaboration with Kiss of Life member Belle. Doyoung and Belle showcased

their smooth vocals as they performed their track Whistle. It seems like the K-pop star had the surprise planned ahead of his military enlistment. The video showed the singers sitting beside each other as they delivered a soulful performance, complementing each other’s voices perfectly. Whistle, a fan-favourite track, was released as a part of Doyoung’s latest single Promise, which came out on December 9.

Doyoung Bids Emotional Farewell to NCT Members and Fans

The K-pop star, along with his fellow band member Jungwoo, temporarily stepped away from group activities to complete their 18 months of military service. Doyoung and Jungwoo both enlisted on Monday, December 8.
Before beginning his military journey, Doyoung took to his Instagram account to share a sweet letter to his fans. He started the note by thanking fans for loving him since his debut. He then went on to express his gratitude to all his staff members, directors, photographers, and others who worked with him over the years.
Doyoung further mentioned his bandmates and how they always cared for him. He ended the post by asking everyone to dream more and grow in their lives.

NCT Members Send Off Doyoung and Jungwoo
Ahead of their enlistment, SM Entertainment announced there would be no send-off event or fan gathering, as many soldiers and families would be present on the day of enlistment.
Later, pictures from Doyoung and Jungwoo’s enlistment surfaced on social media, where NCT members Johnny, Haechan, Taeyong, Chenle, and Mark were seen sending off the duo. Doyoung and Jungwoo also debuted their new buzz cuts, a mandatory requirement for able-bodied men enlisting for service.
Doyoung began his duty as an active-duty soldier in the Korean Army. If everything goes as planned, he will be discharged on June 7, 2027. Doyoung and Jungwoo’s enlistment follows that of Taeyong, who began his naval service in April 2024, and Jaehyun, who joined the military band in November 2024.
