China captured international attention by creating the largest snowman in the world in the heart of winter. The colossal figure, built in the city of Harbin, not only breaks records but also reinforces the city’s reputation as the capital of ice and snow art. The gigantic snowman stands at nearly 19 meters tall. Its size is comparable to a multi-story building, sparking the curiosity of international visitors.
The snowman features a broad smile and traditional accessories such as a scarf and a hat. Building the snowman required thousands of cubic meters of compacted snow. Professional sculptors, engineers, and dozens of workers was carefully pressed and reinforced the snow to ensure its durability.
