Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor has some interesting projects in the pipeline, including Love And War, and Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. He will also star in the sequel of the 2023 blockbuster ‘Animal’ titled
‘Animal Park’. Last year, producer Bhushan Kumar confirmed that the project will only begin shoot after Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film ‘Spirit’ with Prabhas is complete. Now, on his 43rd birthday, Ranbir also shared an update, revealing that the shoot for Animal Park will begin in 2027. He further said that director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has been interacting with him about the idea and characters, and that it’s ‘crazy’.
Ranbir Kapoor Shares Update About Animal Park
Ranbir Kapoor went live on the official Instagram handle of his brand ‘Arks’ on his birthday. During the interaction with fans, he also shared an update about Animal Park, and said, “Animal Park should start in 2027. Sandeep has been interacting with me on the idea, the music and the characters and its just crazy and I can’t wait to be on set.”
Well, there’s still plenty of time before the shoot for Animal Park begins. In the meantime, Ranbir will be seen in two highly anticipated films- Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana Part 1, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love And War’ with Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal- both scheduled to release in 2026.
Ranbir Kapoor On Brahmastra 2
Meanwhile, during the live, Ranbir was also asked about the sequel of his 2022 film Brahmastra. He revealed that director Ayan Mukerji is writing that film, and that it will happen ‘hopefully soon’.

Meanwhile, Ranbir also spoke about his birthday celebration, and said, “Well it has been great. I spent the entire day with Alia and Raha. And just done nothing except…Raha made me a promise that she will give me 43 kisses. So I got that. And then she made me a beautiful card. which really moved me. So it has been a perfect birthday.”
He added, “I had a wonderful birthday last night. Actually, my entire last wo days have been great because I was with family. I was with my mother (Neetu Kapoor), Alia and Raha. couldn’t have asked for a better birthday.”
