Ranbir Kapoor's Ramayana Trailer To Release At A Grand Event On THIS Date

Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, is one of the biggest and most anticipated projects of the year. While the teaser of the film has built anticipation, it looks like the countdown for the film’s trailer reveal has begun. Reports suggest that the trailer of Nitesh Tiwari’s magnum opus Ramayana will be released on July 18 at a grand event.

As per Variety India, the makers of the film are planning to launch the trailer on a grand scale on July 18 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. Director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra are confirmed to attend the event. Meanwhile, it has also been reported that several cast members of the film will be present at the trailer launch.

Among the ensemble cast, Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Ravi Dubey,

Rakul Preet Singh, and Kunal Kapoor are among the confirmed cast members who will grace the trailer launch event. Meanwhile, the report did not confirm whether Yash and Sunny Deol, who are playing Ravan and Hanuman in the film, will attend the event or not.

Ramayana Teaser And The Reaction

Ramayana’s teaser was released on April 2 on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti. It unveiled Ranbir Kapoor’s look as Lord Ram and marked an important moment as the timeless epic is being presented to a global audience. However, it also received mixed reviews from the audience. A section of viewers expressed disappointment with the VFX and called the teaser underwhelming.

Following this, producer Namit Malhotra issued a statement and shared that they are listening to the audience’s feedback. “We’re listening closely, working diligently, and pouring every effort possible into honouring it with the reverence it holds. This is our Ramayana. It belongs to us all, and that shared emotion and massive responsibility to make every Indian proud is what drives me forward every single day. What you’ve seen so far is just the beginning… We are all striving to bring our epic to life this Diwali on the biggest screens to celebrate our culture and our history,” he said.

Ramayana: Part I is slated for a theatrical release this Diwali, while the second chapter will release on Diwali 2027.
