Imagine getting stuck on your own balcony in the middle of the night. While it may sound strange, that’s exactly what happened to a man and his friend in Pune. The two accidentally locked themselves out
on their balcony at around 3 am. Left with no way to re-enter the house without waking their sleeping parents, the duo came up with an unconventional rescue plan that the internet can’t stop laughing about.
Wondering what? They ordered items on Blinkit. The incident was shared on Instagram by Mihir Gahukar, whose video quickly went viral. The clip carries the caption, “We got locked in our own balcony at 3 am, so we did this.”
What Actually Happened?
In the video, one of the friends explains that they had stepped out onto the balcony and realised too late that the door had locked behind them. With their parents asleep inside and no spare key with them, they decided to place a Blinkit order and call the delivery executive to explain their situation.
When the delivery agent arrived, the stranded men guided him over the phone, calmly explaining where the spare key was kept and giving step-by-step instructions to unlock the main door and enter quietly.

The delivery agent located the key, opened the door without alerting anyone inside the house and walked towards the balcony. As soon as he reaches them, the friends burst into laughter, relieved and grateful.

After the incident went viral, Mihir later shared another clip showing how they expressed gratitude towards Blinkit delivery partners. As the delivery partner arrived, they took the order, checked the chocolates and soft drinks.
In the video, they then offered the items to the delivery executive. But the man refused to accept, saying, “On duty hai, sir. Humara kaam hai delivery karna.”
However, after insisting, the duo managed to hand over the goodies, and the delivery partner left with a bright smile, winning hearts once again.
