Mumbai, Sept 17 (PTI) Captain Polyplast Ltd on Thursday said it has bagged an order worth Rs 47 crore from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (MSEDCL) to supply 2,000 solar pumps under the PM KUSUM B scheme.
This MSEDCL order further strengthens Captain Polyplast Ltd’s presence in the government-driven solar EPC segment, with repeat and scaled-up orders validating its execution capabilities and solar pumping solutions, the company informed stock exchanges.
With 2,000 pumps to be installed across identified farmer sites in Maharashtra, the order supports the government’s focus on sustainable irrigation while meaningfully strengthening the company’s solar EPC order book and near-term revenue visibility, it said further.
“This
order from MSEDCL for 2,000 solar pumps worth Rs 47 crore is our largest single solar EPC order to date. This order reflects the growing confidence that MSEDCL and the broader government ecosystem continue to place in our solar EPC execution capabilities,” Captain Polyplast Ltd (CPL) Director Ritesh Khichadia said.
CPL is one of the leading players in the micro-irrigation industry, specialising in the manufacturing and export of equipment for a diverse range of agricultural applications.
CPL shares jumped 4.4 per cent to close at Rs 65.42 on BSE. PTI IAS MR
