Cocktail 2 Trailer
The Cocktail 2 trailer begins with Shahid Kapoor’s character, Kunal, sharing his thoughts on love, friendship, and the evolving nature of relationships. In a reflective voiceover, he compares new relationships to exciting new experiences. “Whenever a relationship is new, it’s exciting because it’s new. New friends are fun because their stories are fun for us. We get tired of listening to the same stories from our old friends. But love is like that torn T-shirt in which we get a peaceful sleep for two nights. But when love turns into friendship and love enters friendship, then there’s only one solution to get out of it,” he says. Kriti Sanon’s character, Ally, lightens the mood with a cheeky remark. “Like a threesome?” she asks.
The story then moves to the scenic landscapes of Italy, where the three protagonists are seen enjoying carefree moments together. While Shahid’s character appears to be in a relationship with Rashmika Mandanna’s character, Kriti’s character is introduced as his close friend who gradually develops deeper feelings for him, setting the stage for emotional complications.
As the trailer unfolds, the love triangle takes centre stage. Both Kriti and Rashmika’s characters seem determined to win Shahid’s heart, creating friction within their circle and raising the emotional stakes. Adding to the nostalgia, the trailer features the beloved track Tum Hi Ho Bandhu, a nod to the original Cocktail, bringing back memories for fans of the 2012 romantic drama.
