Hazaribag (Jharkhand), Jun 4 (PTI) Two persons died in an accident after their motorcycle collided with a truck in Jharkhand’s Hazaribag district on Thursday, a police officer said.
The deceased have been identified as Taufiq Ansari (25) and Resham Parveen (20), both residents of Kesda village in Tatijhariya block.
Resham was the sister-in-law of Taufiq’s elder brother.
Police said Ansari was on his way from Hazaribag to Charhi along with Resham when their motorcycle collided with a truck at Morangi within Muffasil police station limits on NH-33.
The impact of the collision was so severe that both the man and woman, along with their motorcycle, were dragged underneath the truck, resulting in their instant death.
Taufiq’s father Riyasat Ansari recently
underwent surgery at a hospital in Hazaribag where he is currently admitted.
Amidst this situation, the news of his son’s death has left the family devastated.
