Sunrisers Hyderabad are taking on Royal Challengers Bengaluru in their 14th and final league match of IPL 2026 on Friday (May 22). In the fixture underway at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, SRH skipper Pat Cummins won the toss and opted to bat first. After getting an opportunity to bat first in front of home fans, SRH batters made the most of the batting-friendly conditions and posted a total of 255 runs on the board for the loss of only four wickets. Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan, and Heinrich Klaasen scored impressive half-centuries for the Orange Army to help them post a big total.

The total of 200-plus runs by SRH on Friday helped them enter their name in the history
books. They are the first team in history to score 200-plus total nine times in a T20 series.
In the list of teams with the most 200-plus totals in a T20 series, SRH are followed by Gujarat Titans and Punjab Kings. While Gujarat Titans scored 200-plus runs eight times in the 2025 edition of the IPL, PBKS have crossed the 200-run mark 8 times each in the 2025 and 2026 editions of the IPL.
