Dhanush’s Tere Ishk Mein Collects Rs 1 Cr On Day 15, Gets Hit By Dhurandhar Storm

Dhanush and Kriti Sanon-starrer romantic drama Tere Ishk Mein has completed two weeks of its theatrical run. Released on November 28, the Anand L Rai directorial impressed audiences with its emotional

storytelling and strong performances.

While the film opened with good numbers and went on to become the biggest box office grosser of Dhanush’s career so far, it has faced stiff competition from Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar. As a result, it witnessed a slight drop by the second weekend. Entering its third week, the film recorded its lowest single-day collection so far.

Tere Ishk Mein Box Office Collection Day 15

On the third Friday (Day 15), the film collected Rs 1 crore, as per early estimates by Sacnilk. The total earnings from the first week stood at Rs 83.65 crore, while the second week added Rs 25.15 crore.

The film saw a noticeable dip during its second weekend due to strong box office competition from Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna’s Dhurandhar, as well as Kapil Sharma’s newly released Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon. Despite the drop, the film has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark. Its total India net collection currently stands at Rs 109.80 crore.

Tere Ishk Mein Breaks Raanjhanaa’s Record

Aanand L. Rai’s 2025 release has surpassed the lifetime box office collection of his previous film Raanjhanaa, which starred Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor Ahuja. The film earned Rs 60.22 crore. Remarkably, Tere Ishk Mein achieved this milestone within just five days of its theatrical release. The film also marks Dhanush’s third Bollywood outing, after Raanjhanaa (2013) and Shamitabh (2015).

Tere Ishk Mein: Cast, Crew and Storyline

Tere Ishq Mein follows Shankar, a hot-headed and impulsive young man who falls hopelessly in love with Mukti during their college days. While their romance blooms, Mukti eventually chooses to marry someone else, setting the stage for a raw, turbulent, and emotional journey. The film explores a love story that challenges logic, time, and destiny.

Directed by Anand L Rai, the film is produced by Colour Yellow Productions and T-Series Films. A.R. Rahman composed the music of the film.

Dhanush’s Tere Ishk Mein Faces Competition From Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar

Dhurandhar earned Rs 32 crore net in India on December 12, taking its total collection to Rs 239.25 crore net in India. Starring Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, and Sara Arjun, the film earned Rs 28 crore on its opening day. The action spy thriller continued its momentum and collected Rs 32 crore on the second day and Rs 43 crore net in India on its third day of release.
