Sonam Kapoor recently welcomed her second son. The actress has not revealed her son’s face, but often shares real mother moments. Just like this one, she has once again won hearts on social media with her candid take on motherhood. Sonam shared an adorable picture with her newborn son, giving fans a glimpse into her real, unfiltered mom life.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Sonam Kapoor shared a photo in which she is seen holding her son on her shoulder and posing for the camera. “Dar circles zindabad” read the caption. On March 30, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja were blessed with their second son. “With immense gratitude and hearts full of love, we are delighted to announce the arrival of our baby boy today, 29th of March 2026,” she wrote while
announcing the news.

She added, “Our family has grown, and with his arrival, our hearts have expanded in the most beautiful way. Vayu is overjoyed to welcome his little brother, and we feel deeply blessed by this precious new life who has filled our home with happiness and grace. We are grateful to begin this beautiful new chapter as a family of four. With love, Sonam, Anand & Vayu.”
Sonam had confirmed her second pregnancy back in November 2025, posting a picture in a pink co-ord set with black stockings and heels, gently holding her baby bump. Her caption then was simple and sweet: “Mother” with a kissing emoji.
The couple, married since 2018, are already parents to Vayu, born in August 2022. Anand Ahuja, grandson of Shahi Exports owner Harish Ahuja, has carved out his own entrepreneurial path, founding the clothing brand Bhane and India’s first multi-brand sneaker boutique, VegNonVeg.

Sonam was last seen in the 2023 crime-thriller ‘Blind,’ a remake of the 2011 Korean film of the same name. Directed by Shome Makhija and produced by Sujoy Ghosh, the film marked Sonam’s return to the screen after a six-year career break following The Zoya Factor.
