Chiranjeevi’s Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu Crosses Rs 100-Crore Mark In 4 Days

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s return to the big screen after a three-year hiatus with Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu has created a storm at the box office. The action-comedy, made by Anil Ravipudi, released in theatres on January 12, 2026, and has crossed the Rs 100-crore mark in just 4 days of its release.

Produced by Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela, has been garnering positive reactions from critics and audiences for its powerful performances and emotional core of the story.

According to early estimates by Sacnilk, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu collected Rs 22 crore on day 4. With these numbers, the total box office collection stands at Rs 101.85 crore.

in its pre-sales on Sunday. Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu then opened to a stupendous collection of Rs 32.25 crore at the box office. The numbers dipped a bit on Tuesday and Wednesday, with the film minting Rs 18.75 crore and Rs 19.5 crore, respectively.

Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu’s Occupancy Rate
The action-comedy had an overall occupancy of 75.97 per cent on Thursday. While the morning shows saw 52.46 per cent footfall, the night shows peaked at 78.57 per cent. The afternoon and evening shows had the highest occupancy rate, recording 86.03 per cent and 86.81 per cent footfall, respectively. Guntur, Vizag, Mahbubnagar, Warangal and Kakinada recorded over 90 per cent occupancy.

Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu’s Storyline And Cast
The action-comedy centres around a security officer, Shankara Vara Prasad (Chiranjeevi). He is assigned to protect his estranged wife and their children from a revenge-driven former cop, but finds himself facing more than just danger during this tense mission. The responsibility becomes an unexpected opportunity for him to mend broken ties and reconnect as a family after six years of separation.

Besides Chiranjeevi, the Anil Ravipudi directorial also features an ensemble cast of talented actors like Nayanthara and Venkatesh. Catherine Tresa and Sachin Khedekar also feature in key roles.
