Why The Confusion About The Date?
For 2025, there is still uncertainty in some states about when Guru Tegh Bahadur Martyrdom Day will officially be observed. While some list the holiday on November 24, others place it on November 25.

Holiday Dates In Different States

In Punjab and Haryana, schools traditionally close on November 24 for Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s Martyrdom Day.
Delhi schools follow the announcements issued by the state government, but for 2025 no official circular has been released yet, so confirmation is still pending.
