A dramatic scene unfolded at a school in Bihar’s Sheikhpura, when teachers allegedly made their students cook fish for them and wash dishes, triggering outrage in the region and raising questions over the education system.
The incident took place at a high school under the Ghatkusumbha block in the Panapur village of Sheikhpura, with a clip of the same making rounds on the internet.
As shown in the purported video, students were made to cook fish in the kitchen of the school. Moreover, teachers were busy relishing the dish instead of teaching.
Complaint against school authorities
After a complaint was lodged against the school authorities, Block Chief Tariq Anwar visited the school and enquired about the incident. As shown in the video, a teacher,
identified as Pankaj Kumar, allegedly started arguing with Anwar, leading to a bitter fallout between the two.
