Delhi, Sep 10 (PTI) Police in north Delhi’s Ashok Vihar area recovered a misplaced purse containing Rs 2 lakh in cash and gold valuables on Thursday, officials said.
A PCR call was received at Ashok Vihar police station regarding a misplaced purse containing approximately Rs 2 lakh, a gold coin and a gold earring, they said.
Police contacted the complainant and retraced the route taken by her.
The police team meticulously examined the route and surrounding areas and, through a systematic search, traced the purse within four hours.
The purse was found intact with the entire cash amount, gold coin and gold earring, police said. PTI SSJ APL APL
