Pakistan’s former Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, 65, was admitted to Rawalpindi Military Hospital after sustaining injuries from a fall in his washroom, hospital and family sources told CNN-News18.
According to a family source, General Bajwa fell in his washroom yesterday morning, resulting in three head injuries. He underwent a major head operation at the military hospital and is currently under observation in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Hospital officials stated that while the surgery was successful, full recovery may take a couple of weeks, depending on his progress.
A hospital source confirmed that General Bajwa is stable and receiving close medical supervision. Doctors are monitoring his condition carefully due to the seriousness
of his head injuries.
