Rohan Mehra has sharply criticised the ongoing drama inside Bigg Boss 19, calling out what he believes is selective outrage from housemates Amaal and Shehbaz Badesha after the latter lost his captaincy.
Their explosive reaction including Amaal allegedly abusing the production team has led to a wave of debate on social media. According to Rohan, the backlash is misplaced and ignores earlier incidents that were arguably more unfair.
Taking to X, Rohan wrote, “Wow. So evicting Abhishek and Mridul wasn’t unfair, but the moment Shahbaz lost captaincy, the whole Bigg Boss team became unfair and Amaal even abused them. Hope fairness shows up this Weekend Ka Vaar #BiggBoss19 #SalmanKhan.”
His post indicates that he is not supporting Shehbaz or Amaal, but instead criticising them for suddenly calling the makers “unfair” only when the twist affected them.
Gaurav Chooses Himself, House Faces Big Consequences
In the latest task, Gaurav Khanna was summoned to the app room and presented with a difficult decision: either secure his own captaincy or let Shehbaz take over. Choosing himself came with significant consequences — only 30% weekly ration and the entire house being nominated for eviction. Despite the risks, Gaurav chose to retain his captaincy.
While some contestants applauded his boldness, others saw it as selfish. The decision became the catalyst for a dramatic breakdown inside the house that quickly spiralled into accusations and emotional confrontations.
Shehbaz Breaks Down, Amaal Loses Cool; House Divides
When the results were revealed, Shehbaz was furious. He called the process “unfair” and questioned why he was not called to the app room to present his case. Amaal backed him strongly, criticising the makers and reportedly using harsh language during the outburst.
As tensions rose, Shehbaz broke down and emotionally declared, “Gaurav should be announced the winner,” accusing the show of bias and even threatening to walk out. Tanya consoled him as he cried, further deepening the emotional divide in the house.
Meanwhile, several housemates continued to support Gaurav, agreeing that he had simply played the game strategically and within the rules.
