Bollywood star Akshay Kumar brought fans a perfect blend of action, emotion, and laughter on the finale of The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3, which premiered on Netflix on Saturday, September 19. The episode was especially significant as it coincided with the release of his much-anticipated film Jolly LLB 3. Known for his dedication to fitness, stunts, and performing his own action sequences, Akshay used the platform to acknowledge the people who have stood by him behind the scenes – his stuntmen. The actor paid a special tribute to them.
Heartfelt tribute to stuntmen
During the finale, Akshay paid a moving tribute to the stuntmen who have been an integral part of his career. Sharing the stage with several stunt performers, he said, “Mere liye

The stuntmen revealed that Akshay has been supporting their welfare quietly for years, personally paying life insurance premiums for every member of their union.
Comedy and friendly banter
While the episode carried emotional weight, it also included plenty of laughter. Kapil Sharma playfully teased Akshay about being late, despite the actor’s reputation for punctuality. Akshay responded with a grin, saying, “Arre, mujhe pehle paise nahi mile (I didn’t get paid yet).”
The playful roast continued as Kapil joked about Akshay’s extensive filmography. Akshay clapped back humorously, “Tere show ke teen seasons Netflix pe chale, do filmein aayi, aur ab cafe bhi khol liya… tu bata talent zyada hai ya zarooratein (Your show’s had three seasons, two films, and now you’ve opened a cafe, you tell me, is it talent or need)?”
