Ranbir Kapoor's Fans Angry As Ramayana Makers Release Teaser In LA: 'It Is An Indian Film'

The makers of Ranbir Kapoor’s much-awaited movie, Ramayana, recently released the teaser of the film in Los Angeles. Interestingly, it has not been released in India yet and is scheduled to be out on April 2. This has left Ranbir’s fans in the country disappointed and upset.

Recently, several netizens took to their respective X handles and asked the makers of Ramayana the reason for releasing the teaser in LA before India. While some claimed that the makers of Nitesh Tiwari’s directorial are only interested in making money by selling the film to the NRIs, others argued that the decision is disrespectful and has hurt their sentiments.

Who Is Playing What In Ramayana? 

While Ranbir Kapoor is playing the role of Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi will be seen as Goddess Sita. KGF star Yash will be seen as Ravana in this movie. Sunny Deol and Ravie Dubey will play the roles of Hanuman and Lakshman, respectively. On the other hand, Kajal Aggarwal and Rakul Preet Singh will be seen as Mandodri and Surpanakha. Arun Govil, Kunal Kapoor, Adinath Kothare, Sheeba Chaddha and Indira Krishnan are also part of this project.

Ramayana Part I is slated for a theatrical release this Diwali, while the second chapter will release on Diwali 2027.
