Nita Ambani Turns Heads In A Molten Gold Saree At NMACC Anniversary Gala

At the third anniversary celebration of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai on April 3, Nita Ambani set the tone for the evening with a look that balanced tradition and spectacle. As Chairperson of Reliance Foundation and the evening’s host, she welcomed a star-studded guest list including Shahid Kapoor, Mira Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Salman Khan, Sidharth Malhotra, and Kiara Advani. For the occasion, true to her signature style, she chose a richly detailed saree that reflected the cultural ethos of the venue while embracing ceremonial elegance.

Nita Ambani’s look was anchored in a luminous silk saree that played on the interplay of molten gold and deep crimson. The textile, woven with intricate zari detailing, carried a fluid

sheen that shifted with movement, lending the drape a near-liquid quality.

A broad border adorned with traditional paisley motifs framed the saree, while the pallu fell in a soft yet structured line. The surface design remained subtle, allowing the richness of the weave and colour palette to take centre stage. Balancing the opulence of the saree was a tailored blouse in a complementary maroon-gold tone. Cut with short sleeves and a structured silhouette, it brought definition to the look, contrasting the fluidity of the drape.

The ensemble was elevated with statement jewellery that leaned into traditional Indian grandeur. A layered gold necklace, set with emeralds and rubies, formed the focal point, its intricate craftsmanship adding depth and richness. Matching jhumkas echoed the gemstone palette, introducing movement and a classic flourish. Stacked gold bangles and statement rings completed the look, creating a cohesive narrative rooted in heritage styling.

Her makeup offered a soft counterpoint to the richness of the ensemble – a sleek, centre-parted bun adorned with a fresh white gajra brought in a delicate, traditional touch. The makeup remained polished yet understated with defined eyes, a gentle flush, and a natural lip.
