Buchi Babu Sana Finally Reacts To Rumours About Jr NTR Being Peddi’s First Choice

Peddi director Buchi Babu Sana has finally addressed the long-standing speculation surrounding his upcoming film Peddi and whether Jr NTR was originally considered for the project before Ram Charan came on board. The filmmaker recently clarified that the rumours were completely untrue and that Peddi was always envisioned with Ram Charan in the lead role.

Times Now has quoted director Buchi Babu Sana saying that the reports were incorrect as NTR project referred to earlier was a completely different script, while Peddi was specifically written with Ram Charan in mind. Buchi Babu revealed that the actor underwent months of intense wrestling training to prepare for the role.

Peddi To Skip Release Trailer Ahead Of Theatrical Debut?

close to the project, the makers currently have no plans to release a final trailer ahead of the movie’s grand theatrical debut. 123 Telugu quoted sources saying that there are currently no plans for a release trailer. The team is expected to proceed directly to the film’s theatrical release on June 4. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, ‘Peddi’ stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead. The movie also stars Boman Irani, Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru, the movie is set to release on June 4, 2026.
