Promotion Event Turns Chaotic In Greater Noida

Ahead of the film’s release, Akshay Kumar, along with Rajpal Yadav and Wamiqa Gabbi, visited Gaur City Mall in Greater Noida to promote Bhooth Bangla. What was meant to be a routine promotional event quickly spiralled into chaos as massive crowds gathered at the venue.

Videos from the mall, now widely circulating on social media, show an overwhelming turnout, with fans packing into tight spaces in a bid to catch a glimpse of the actor.

Stampede-Like Situation As Fans Surge Forward

The situation soon turned tense as the crowd surged forward, leading to a stampede-like scenario. With limited space available, several fans were seen climbing escalator handrails to get a better view from higher levels.

On the ground floor, where Akshay was interacting with the audience, barricades were breached as people pushed through in an attempt to reach the front. Despite the frenzy, the actor remained composed, continuing to engage with fans in his usual calm manner.

First Look Sets The Tone For Horror-Comedy

Last month, Akshay Kumar unveiled the first-look motion poster of Bhooth Bangla, offering a glimpse into the film’s eccentric and eerie tone. The actor appeared in a striking ‘tantrik-like’ avatar, seated on a throne adorned with demonic faces.

Dressed in black sunglasses and layered rudraksha beads, he was seen clutching a rosary while mid-scream, creating a dramatic yet playful visual. The poster was accompanied by the caption, “Dus ko denge das-tak, intezar karo tab tak… Let the fun begin!” hinting at the film’s blend of horror and humour.

Release Date And Production Details

Produced by Ektaa R Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under Balaji Motion Pictures, along with Akshay Kumar’s Cape of Good Films, Bhooth Bangla is slated to hit theatres on April 17.

With its mix of nostalgia, star power and genre-bending storytelling, the film is already building strong buzz ahead of its release.
