The third and final ODI of the ongoing three-match series between India and New Zealand will be played on Sunday, January 18, at Holkar Stadium in Indore. Both the teams have won one match so far, and the winner
of Sunday’s contest will bag the ODI series. Shubman Gill, who scored half-centuries for the hosts in both the matches played so far, would like to come up with a big show with the bat in the third ODI as well to help India win the first ODI series under his leadership.
Apart from Gill, there will be high expectations from world No. 1 ODI batter Virat Kohli, world No. 3 ODI batter Rohit Sharma and vice-captain Shreyas Iyer.
As for the Kiwis, the Michael Bracewell-led side will have a chance to secure a rare ODI series win in India, that too with a depleted squad.
