Wicketkeeper-batter Tim Seifert opened the innings for New Zealand in the ongoing T20I match against India and scored a half-century in just 25 balls. The 25-ball fifty by Seifert on Wednesday is the joint-fastest half-century in T20Is by a New Zealand batter against India. He equalled Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor’s tally, who also needed just 25 balls to reach the 50-run mark against India in 2020.
