New Delhi, Jul 17 (PTI) Oberoi Realty on Friday reported a 29 per cent increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 543.51 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026.
Its profit stood at Rs 421.25 crore in the year-ago period.
Total income grew to Rs 1,361.69 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal from Rs 1,073.98 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding year, according to a regulatory filing.
Mumbai-based Oberoi Realty has delivered 51 real estate projects so far, comprising 17.3 million sq ft, out of which more than 34 million sq ft is under construction.
“India as an economy continues to stand out as one of the strongest long-term growth stories globally, and we remain optimistic about the opportunities this presents for premium housing,”
said Vikas Oberoi, Chairman and Managing Director of Oberoi Realty.
During the June quarter, he said the company’s residential, commercial, retail and hospitality businesses continued to perform steadily, reflecting the strength of our diversified portfolio.
“Having built our business over four decades in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, the recent launch of our first development in the NCR marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Oberoi Realty,” the CMD said, adding that the company has a robust pipeline of upcoming launches.
On June 29, the company announced its foray into the Delhi-NCR market with the launch of its first luxury housing project, spread over 15 acres of land, with a total investment of Rs 6,000 crore and a revenue potential of Rs 16,000 crore.
Oberoi Realty has already sold luxury homes worth Rs 8,109 crore in its newly-launched project in Gurugram. However, on June 9, a court order restrained the company from making any further allotment of flats in this newly launched project in Gurugram.
After the judgement, Oberoi Realty asserted that there would be no adverse impact on its business operations from this order and the company would take legal course of action.
The Punjab and Haryana High Court restrained Oberoi Realty from making any fresh allotments or creating third-party rights in its ‘Oberoi 360 North’ residential project in Gurugram until the Haryana Department of Town and Country Planning (DTCP) decides a pending complaint challenging the validity of the project’s licence.
The complaint alleges violations of foreign direct investment (FDI) norms and other provisions.
Oberoi Realty acquired the 15-acre land from crisis-hit real estate company IREO Group. IREO had done some construction on this project, which is now being demolished by Oberoi Realty.
Before selling this land parcel to Oberoi Realty, IREO had roped in Advance India Projects Ltd to complete this project. PTI MJH DRR
