Kashmiri beauty Farrhana Bhatt emerged as one of the most talked-about contestants of Bigg Boss 19, winning audience attention with her strong personality and unapologetic stand inside the controversial reality show. While her journey was marked by frequent criticism for her foul language and villainess reputation, Farrhana’s presence kept her firmly in the spotlight throughout the season.
Although she narrowly missed lifting the trophy, Farrhana finished the show as the first runner-up, cementing her place as one of the most discussed and celebrated contestants of the season.
During her stint on Bigg Boss 19, Farrhana often spoke about her deep bond with her grandfather. On his sixth death anniversary, the actress took to X (formerly Twitter)
to share a heartfelt tribute in his memory.

“On the 6th death anniversary of my beloved grandfather, Abu, I honour the way he raised me to be strong, fierce, and full of fire. He did not raise me to be quiet or fragile, he raised me to stand tall, to face life with courage, resilience, and self-belief,” she wrote.
She further added, “Every lesson he gave me, every boundary he set, and every ounce of faith he placed in me shaped the strength I carry today. Life has changed for the better now, and with every step forward and every success I achieve, I feel his presence guiding me.”
Expressing her longing, Farrhana concluded, “I only wish Abu were here to witness how far I’ve come, to see the woman his love and teachings helped create. Though he is no longer by my side, his spirit lives on in my victories, my fire, and the unshakable strength he planted within me. Allah grants him the highest place in Jannah. Ameen.”

Bigg Boss 19 Finale Results
After a 105-day stint inside the BB house, television actor Gaurav Khanna walked away with the coveted trophy and the prize money of Rs 50 lakh. Farrhana Bhatt became the first runner-up in the show, while Pranit More secured the second runner-up position. Tanya Mittal and Amaal Mallik were out at fourth and fifth positions respectively.
Farrhana Bhatt’s Career So Far
She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from the Government College for Women, Srinagar, before moving to Mumbai to pursue acting. She trained at Anupam Kher’s Actor Prepares and made her acting debut in 2016 with Sunshine Music Tours & Travels, opposite Sunny Kaushal.
She gained wider recognition with her role as Jasmeet in Imtiaz Ali’s Laila Majnu (2018), which also marked Triptii Dimri’s first leading role. Farrhana later appeared in projects backed by major production houses such as Salman Khan Films, Balaji Telefilms, and Dharma Productions.
The Bigg Boss fame then stepped into OTT, with projects like The Freelancer, Country of Blind, Heaven of Hindustan, and India’s Braves. Apart from acting, Farrhana is also a national-level athlete and a five-time national medalist in taekwondo.
