(Keralam), Sep 7 (PTI) Two workers were killed after a slab of a building collapsed during renovation work at Muthalakodam in Thodupuzha, police said on Monday.
The deceased are natives of Kothamangalam, police said.
Two other workers, both migrants, were injured in the incident and were taken for treatment.
The slab collapsed while renovation work was being carried out on the building.
The workers were trapped under the debris.
Rescue personnel immediately launched an operation, but the two workers could not be saved, police added. PTI TGB HMP SA
