Katrina Kaif has been away from films for a while now, especially since welcoming her son, Vihaan. However, she is focused on her brand, Kay Beauty, which is quickly becoming a sensation as one of the few successful Bollywood celebrity brands in India. Will Vicky Kaushal also follow in Katrina’s footsteps and start his own brand?

Vicky Kaushal told The Nod Mag, “The more I see how hard she works on every aspect of Kay Beauty, the more I feel that I’m not meant to run a business. At least not right now.” The actor added, “Katrina has great business acumen. She is driven. I have tremendous respect for her. But if I get into a business, I would first have to learn the ropes.”

“And it would have to be an extension of me. As of today, I only see myself

being creatively stimulated [as an actor],” the actor said. While Vicky Kaushal may not be starting a brand soon, he leaves no opportunity to promote Kay Beauty. Just a few months ago, he turned into an unofficial ambassador for Kay Beauty on Instagram.

The actor took to his Instagram Stories to promote the brand’s new product, in his signature cheeky style. Sharing a selfie holding a jelly lip and cheek wand after applying it to his face, he wrote, “Caffeinated cheeks for caffeinated me! What a wow,” and tagged Katrina and Kay Beauty. He went on to joke, “I tried my best, but sadly, not a paid promotion.”

The new mommy, Katrina, was quick to repost his story and react to it. She wrote, “Best for sleep-deprived dads.” Their playful banter has grabbed everyone’s attention online, leaving their fans in awe. In 2024, the actress shared a video in which Vicky told a stuffed toy, “Buddy, I think I just found the most hydrating lipstick.” He also added, “It’s not kay to be so good.” When the camera flipped towards Katrina, she added, “But it’s Kay to be you.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Vicky Kaushal was last seen in Laxman Utekar’s Chhaava, co-starring Rashmika Mandanna. He is currently shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War, which will reunite him with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.
